Internet Explorer does not require an extension. Use the desktop-element commands to capture and automate its elements.

When you use IE mode in Microsoft Edge, you usually need to set the application to msedge.exe.

Web automation commands support Chromium-based browsers only; they do not support Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge in IE mode. Use desktop automation commands for those environments.
