Install the Chrome Extension
To automate webpages in Chrome, install both Google Chrome and the Runavelo extension. Choose one of the following four methods.
Method 1: Automatic installation

In the upper-right corner of the editor, select More > Install Browser Extension.

Start Chrome and select Enable Extension.

Confirm that the extension appears in Chrome and is enabled.
Method 2: Install a Local CRX File
- Chrome browser official download link https://google.cn/chrome
- Download the CRX extension file (right-click and select Save link as)

Use Chrome browser to open chrome://extensions

Turn on Developer Mode

Drag the chrome-plugin.crx file into Chrome

Click Add extension in the pop-up window

Confirm that the extension appears in Chrome and is enabled.

Restart Chrome before using webpage automation.
Method 3: Load an Unpacked Extension
- Chrome browser official download link https://google.cn/chrome

Use Chrome browser to open chrome://extensions

Turn on Developer Mode

Select Load unpacked.

Select the unpacked extension directory:
C:\Users<your-user-name>\AppData\Local\RunaveloApp<version>\chrome-plugin
For example: C:\Users\young\AppData\Local\RunaveloApp\7.6.0\chrome-plugin

Confirm that the extension appears in Chrome and is enabled.

Restart Chrome before using webpage automation.
This method requires Runavelo 7.6.0 or later.
Method 4: Install via Chrome Web Store
- Chrome browser official download link https://google.cn/chrome

Open the Chrome Web Store, search for Runavelo, and select Add to Chrome.

Confirm that the extension appears in Chrome and is enabled.

Restart Chrome before using webpage automation.
